Job description
The Sales Director ensures the achievement of objectives and results of the various sales teams. The Sales Director is based in Spånga and reports to the Regional Sales Leader Nordic

KEY TASKS – MAJOR JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translate regional policies into local objectives, plans and budgets
• Achievement of objectives and results of the various sales teams
• Development and monitoring of KPI's
• Cooperation with Customer Service team and Catalyst Service team
• Member of the Regional Sales leader team
• Support European and Regional Sales initiatives
• Initiate and implement new sales projects as agreed with Regional Sales leader team
• Managing and motivating team leaders and sales team
• Responsible for people and resources
• Manage the local direct contribution (Sales)

Desired Skills and Experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Enthusiastic people manager with at least 5 years experience in a similar job and branch
• Degree in Sales (complemented with marketing)•Flexible, decisive and strategic
• Business acumen and excellent negotiations skills
•Motivator and entrepreneur
• Complies with the competencies of VWR: developing people, analytical & critical thinking, collaboration & teamwork, continual improvement & innovation, customer focus, driving results
• Fully proficient in Swedish and English
