Senior System Specialist, Market Operations

We are looking for a product and business system expert to participate in projects related to our derivatives markets within Market Operations, Transaction Services Nordic (TSN).

System Management is responsible for the setup of new products (trading and clearing), user acceptance tests of new initiatives/ releases and for the planning and analysis of new product and market structure enhancements.

The team works in close cooperation with the business units, other teams within Market Operations and the IT operations teams. System Management also provides senior business system and product support to other groups within Market Operations.

A potential candidate should have an interest in derivatives products and the market infrastructure of the Nordic marketplace for Commodity, Equity and Fixed Income derivatives. We are looking for a person who can have both a deep knowledge of derivatives products/market structure as well as a solid understanding of the technical aspects of running an exchange.

Responsibilities
Drive and/or participate in projects related to new business- or technical initiatives within Transaction Services Nordic focusing on derivatives trading, clearing and settlement
Drive and/or participate in Acceptance Testing
Drive operational requirements
Analyze business proposals and translate them into technical requirements
Provide senior support to the market operations teams
Your Profile
The successful candidate for this position fulfills the following profile:
Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong communicative ability.
Good knowledge of the trading, clearing and settlement of derivatives products
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational and analytical skills
Education:
University studies/degree in Computer science, Economics or similar is beneficial
Language skills:
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
Computer skills:
Windows systems.
MS Office
Other beneficial skills:
Excellent language skills in written and spoken Swedish.
Knowledge about traded financial instruments and market models at NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange
Knowledge about Genium INET System and protocols
Knowledge about FIX and ITCH protocol
Practical experience from software related requirements, functional test planning, execution and analysis
